⭐️ Rating: 5/5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Harlow and Niall and Jensen
🚁 Why Choose
🚁 Close Proximity
🚁 Second Chance
🚁 On-the-Run
🚁 Cinnamon Roll MMC

πŸ’– Things begin to unravel when Jensen’s past comes back to haunt him and the man he’s been hunting threatens to turn the tables on him. Protecting Harlow is now the only priority and might just send them all right into the relationship they all need.

πŸ’– In this second gen installment, the intrigue continues with Harlow and her men. Desperate to prove herself, Harlow pushes boundaries and herself, putting herself in danger as she works to bring down a criminal organization. Niall is the man determined to protect her, to provide her with the love, the support she needs. Jensen not only brings the heat, the passion out in Harlow, but he needs to face his past before he can fully commit to Harlow and Niall.

πŸ’– Another fantastic addition to the Texas Sirens world! My favorite reads include connected series and crossovers. And, The Reluctant Siren hits all the high points. Lexi Blake continues to develop excellent characters with depth of emotion, pain, and fears that are completely relatable. I love the suspense she immerses her characters into, which continues to build until the end. In all the suspense and drama, Lexi sprinkles in moments of light and humor, making her characters even more engaging.

πŸ’– Of course, I can’t pass up a good Taggart-ism!

πŸ–‡He opened his arms. And she was safe again.

🎧 Review: The Maestro and the Roofer

πŸ“šThe Maestro and the Roofer (A Dash of Desire Book 3)

πŸ–‹Author ~ Brianna Bancroft

 πŸŽ§Narrator ~ Claire Marlowe

πŸ–‹Features: Contemporary Romance, Novella Quick Read, Opposites Attract

⭐️Rating: 5/5

πŸ’–I love how opposites attract when this famous pianist collides with a man who knows how to use his hands.

🎼Mia Pelletier—Once the toast of the classical musical world, Mia’s personal life has taken a hard hit. Left reeling, her professional career and reputation are in shambles.

🧰Travis Flynn—Always overlooked by his family, Travis’s quick wit and playful attitude keep everyone from getting too close or getting in too deep. That is, until Mia.

The sparks fly when these two meet! An unruly flirt, Travis and Mia quickly toss barbs and innuendos at each other. Travis’s teasing attitude and humor draw Mia out of her self-imposed isolation. Setting aside the fame, the pressure, and the expectations, Mia can just be herself with Travis. That’s what makes her time with him so special.

🎧 Claire Marlowe is fantastic giving a very saucy and playful voice to Mia and Travis. Their chemistry burns bright with her narration.

🫦 Marvelous Moments:

“You think your grandmother would’ve liked me?” he asked coyly. Mia threw him a teasing glare and said, “I still don’t even know if I like you.”

πŸ“š Review ~ Popping the Clutch
A CarTubers Manual for Love Book 1
πŸ–‹ Author ~ Rochelle Bradley
πŸ–‹ Genre: Fake Relationship, Forced Proximity, RomCom
⭐️ Rating: 4/5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dyson and Callie
A fake relationship to impress his family is just a reason for Dyson to get closer to Callie. A relentless stalker brings them even closer together.

πŸ”§Popping the Clutch is a sweet read. Full of slow-burning humorous innuendos. While forced proximity and a fake relationship are the excuse to bring Dyson and Callie together, they were always meant to be a couple. There’s a lot more to Dyson than just his car show. That comes through in the way that he thinks about Callie.

πŸ”§She’s more than just a walking advertisement for her brother’s CarTube channel. “How did she learn everything, and what else did she know? I planned to plunder her mind like I plundered her b%dy.” He is also completely supportive in helping her get her own show up and running.

πŸ”§Getting to know Dyson’s family was a fun experience. I especially like the way the women not so subtly keep pushing Dyson and Callie together. However, Dyson’s cousin needs to be disowned.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lulu and Oliver
When someone threatens Lulu and the ones she loves, Oliver will do anything to protect her, even if it means giving up his freedom and their happily ever after.

Wow! I NEED an Oliver to be my hero! Lulu and Oliver are amazing together. I love the way their story developed. It was so sweet and easy. They just fit together perfectly.

Oliver fits right in with the Gallo men. All of them want nothing more than to support the ones they love. There should definitely be more Gallo men in the real world! For new readers and longtime fans of Chelle Bliss, I hope you enjoy Lulu and Oliver’s romance as much as I did.

πŸ“š Review ~ Her Final Breath
πŸ“š Tracy Crosswhite Book 2
πŸ–‹ Author ~ Robert Dugoni
🎧 Narrator ~ Emily Sutton-Smith
πŸ–‹ Genre: Small Town Romance, Mystery, Police Procedural
⭐️ Rating: 5/5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tracy Crosswhite Series
Homicide detective Tracy Crosswhite returns to Seattle after the sensational circumstances of her sister’s murder. Still scarred from that ordeal, Tracy is pulled into an investigation that threatens to end her career, if not her life. Pitted against not only an unknown stalker but also a serial killer known as the Cowboy, Tracy’s career is threatened by media sensationalism and an old case with links to the current murders.

Emily Sutton-Smith as the voice of Tracy Crosswhite continues to draw me in and keep me listening. I appreciate the logical and methodical way Tracy approaches her cases. There is just enough emotion in her depiction that I feel as if I’m part of the investigation with Tracy, Dan, and her partner, Kinsington Rowe. I love Tracy’s unique approach to her cases, as well as her quick wit, which borders just inside the lines of sarcasm, especially when verbally sparring with Johnny Nolasco.

πŸ“š Review ~ Changed by You
Minnesota Mammoths Book 3
πŸ–‹ Author ~ Brenda Rothert
πŸ–‹ Genre: Sports Romance, Contemporary Romance
⭐️ Rating: 5/5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dalton and Alice

“I’m always the one doing the caretaking, never the one receiving the care. It felt good to just let go of everything in his arms, even if it was only for a minute.” ~ That is absolutely Alice. She is the caretaker, giving up so much of her time and life to make sure her brother and her parents, especially her ailing father, are well cared for. She works basically non-stop, fulfilling her boss’s every whim, including lavender-infused glass-bottled boutique water and carefully prepared sushi.

After choking in the final of the series, Minnesota Mammoth’s team captain, Dalton isn’t necessarily looking for romance. But he agrees to appear in a reality TV show to increase publicity for the NHL. He wasn’t looking for anything special until he saw Alice.

While Alice is overly busy taking care of her superstar boss, Dalton realizes that it is Alice’s turn to have someone care for her. And Dalton is determined to be that man. I love these two together. While Alice is used to putting herself last in almost every aspect of her life, it’s Dalton who recognizes this and encourages Alice to step up for herself. This is an incredible read, and I truly enjoyed seeing Alice allow herself the time and the energy to be herself. As someone who usually puts others first, I love how Dalton sees who Alice is. That he is the man who will love and support her, however she needs.

πŸ“š Review ~ A Dead Draw
πŸ“š Tracy Crosswhite Book 11
πŸ–‹ Author ~ Robert Dugoni
🎧 Narrator ~ Emily Sutton-Smith
πŸ–‹ Genre: Small Town Romance, Mystery, Police Procedural
⭐️ Rating: 5/5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tracy Crosswhite Series
Tracy has spent 20 years questioning the facts surrounding her sister Sarah’s disappearance and the murder trial that followed. Years later, Tracy is still reaping the repercussions of her sister’s death. A legal mistake has given accused killer Erik Schmidt a chance at revenge, deliberately maneuvering Tracy into a final duel.

Another fantastic narration by Emily Sutton-Smith. Her portrayal of Tracy Crosswhite is heartfelt and yet at the same time, gives Tracy the right amount of logical process in the way her detective mind works. The introduction of Lydia helps to heal the wounds left behind by the truth of Sarah’s murder. I love the detail put into Lydia’s character, how she helps Tracy reconcile a part of her past, and moves her forward with her husband Dan and their daughter.
