πŸ“šReview ~ Paragon
Paragon Operations #1
πŸ–‹Author ~ Sybil Bartel
πŸ–‹Features: Military Romance, Romantic Suspense
⭐️Rating: 5/5

Petty Officer Second Class William "Bravo" Nilsen is officially deceased. Your new call sign is Phoenix.

The Phoenix has risen and is reclaiming his life. A Vice Admiral dictated the trajectory of his life. A Vice Admiral took away his sister, his family, and his team. Now, Will "Phoenix" Nilsen is determined to right those wrongs, to come out of the dark, and reclaim a new life.

Another set of operators is stepping out of their three-foot world. And, it begins with Phoenix. A force of nature, there is nothing...not a dead Vice Admiral or a couple of dirty Federal Marshals that will stop him. Taking back what was always his, he thought he'd planned for every contingency. He never planned for a late-night call from a phone that hadn't rung in too many years or for a trespasser to breach through his entire existence.

I love these dominant alpha heroes that Sybil creates. Reading her books, I feel like I'm following Gretel as she drops hints of breadcrumbs for me to gobble up. Although Phoenix can be read as a stand-alone, I recommend reading Sybil's work from the beginning. Several of my favorite characters make appearances. Plus, I wouldn't want to miss any hidden gems.

πŸ“š Review ~ Three to Ride
Nights in Bliss, Colorado #1
πŸ–‹ Author ~ Lexi Blake (Sophie Oak)
πŸ–‹ Genre: Small Town Romance, Romantic Suspense, Series
🎧 Narrated by: Kitty Bang, Lee Samuels
⭐️ Rating: 4/5

Re-released in a second edition with two new chapters and additional new content.

Welcome to Bliss, Colorado... Ladies, Gentlemen, sexy Cowboys and one stern Sheriff. Oh My Gosh! This book really takes small town quirkiness to a whole new level. At least that's Rachel Swift's opinion when her battered old Jeep breaks down just outside Bliss. The sweet old guy who gives her a lift into town not only is hunting Aliens, but also points her in the direction of a new job at the local diner.

Running from an abusive stalker, Rachel is wary of getting too close to anyone in town. She's focused on working, saving as much of her hard earned money, and trying to stay safe while living out of her car. Max Harper won't let a little thing like his temper get in the way of the sparks of desire that seem to simmer between him and the new waitress in town. Even as Rachel tries to cut a wide path around his brother, the Sheriff, Max refuses to let a little thing like her past get in their way.

It will take all of Max's charm and Rye's patience to convince Rachel to give the three of them a real chance at a forever kind of love. I really enjoyed their dynamic, especially Rachel's slow intro into a menage. This definitely added more to the relationship as they each needed to discover what they wanted from one another. The town was electric and fun, especially the town's festival and the introduction to two new sexy cowboys! Kitty Bang and Lee Samuels brought each character and the town's quirks to life. Their individual personalities shined through.

Welcome to Bliss!

Review: Ranger's Temptation: A Fake Dating Short Romance

πŸ“š Review: Ranger’s Temptation
by Bridget Adrienne
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Autumn & Ryker
πŸ’ Fake dating at a wedding
🌲 A city girl meets her (mountain) match
πŸ’A possessive park ranger who falls fast & hard
🌲 He’ll throw you over his knee, then make you pancakes after πŸ₯ž
πŸ’ Obsession, dirty talk, and lots of spice

Bridget's stories are so unique. I love the creative way she brings two characters together. Definitely a sexy twist on the usual tropes. Her storylines don't just skim the surface. Fast-paced, she gets right into what motivates her characters. Her novellas are insta-quick and her style is insta-love with a touch of flannel!

πŸ’ I propositioned him to be my fake date, not to star in some backwoods version of "Fifty Shades of Flannel." 🌲

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Insta-Love and Insta-Heat. Ryker is the guy to do the wrong thing for all the right reasons. Fiercely protective of the wolves that have made his forest their home, he is determined to secure funding that will keep them safe. When he sees an opportunity to meet with a potential investor, he can't pass up this once in a lifetime chance. What Ryker doesn't realize is accepting Autumn's proposal might just put him and his wolves in grave danger.

πŸ“š Review: Ranger’s Claim
πŸ’– Rangers #2 by Bridget Adrienne
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Calle & Sawyer
πŸ’– Age Gap
🌲 Possessive Ranger
πŸ’– College Research Assistant
🌲 Single Dad
πŸ’– Insta-Love
🌲 Protective MMC

Bridget has an amazing way of kick-starting a story with incredible characters and a fast-paced storyline that keeps me turning the pages. Her novellas are insta-quick and her style is insta-love.
🌲 A portion of proceeds is donated to national parks 🌲

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Insta-Love and Insta-Heat. Ranger Sawyer is exactly the guy to get stuff done. Fiercely protective of his forest, he is even more possessive of a fresh new college research assistant. His protective instincts are on full display when Calle is threatened. Sawyer won't let anyone stand in his way when it comes to claiming Calle, not even himself.

πŸ’– And that's what scares me most. Not that he's so much older, or that he intimidates me. But that if I let myself need him, even a little, I might never want to stop.

Review: Wanting the Winger

πŸ”¬Lainey & Bash πŸ’
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wanting the Winger
Brenda Rothert

πŸ”¬ Another wonderful addition to the Love on the Line series. This is book #2, featuring Lainey and Bash. While Lainey sets her teenage crush on Bash aside, she focuses on her research. Believing that she's not ‘the one,’ she settles for a less than stellar fiance.

πŸ’ Bash never forgot Lainey. But he did keep his distance as long as possible. Seeing Lainey with another guy who isn’t nearly worthy of her pushes Bash to make his move.

I loved how Lainey's research career is an important part of who she is, and that Bash is completely supportive.

πŸ’– McKayla & Wyatt 🐴
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rodeo Rivals
Victoria Jayne

πŸ’– This is the 1st time I’ve read one of Victoria Jayne’s books. And, what a great start. Rodeo Rivals is a quick, easy read. I loved diving right into McKayla and Wyatt’s story.

🐴 With Wyatt’s return to the rodeo competition circuit and McKayla’s professional debut, this was a fantastic story that challenges them on a personal and professional level. I love the way McKayla has chosen a non-traditional role of becoming a rough bronc rider in a male dominated environment. Thrilled to see her going after her dreams!

πŸ“š Review: Running Scared
Baycliff Valley #4 by H K Brown
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Janelle & Eli
πŸ’– Single Mom
🏠 Protective MMC
πŸ’– Abusive Ex-Husband
🏠 Second Chance Love
πŸ’– Wounded FMC
🏠 Forced proximity

πŸ’– After escaping an abusive marriage, Janelle is convinced the trauma she experienced means never letting anyone close enough to hurt her or her children again. Enter Eli Boyd. His genuine kindness and natural connection with her kids has her thinking again until he suddenly announces their fake marriage the Judge!

🏠 “Janelle, my love for you is as endless as the sky.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a sweet story of learning to trust and love again. I ached for how strong Janelle had to be to protect her kids, dealing with financial hardships, and an abusive ex-husband who won’t go away. And cried when Eli dedicated himself to breaching Janelle’s walls.
