Keeping a protective eye on Club Princess, Bama is attracted to Jordyn’s strong spirit. She’s been raised in the Club life, so she understands the pressures of surviving this life. Bama’s interest, however, is more than just a prospect wanting to look out for his three brothers’ kid. 

Their main issue, aside from Club business, which has them circling each other, is trust. It’ll take a lot more than just a perfect night together for them to trust each other enough to share secrets and accept that everyone has a past.

While this can be read as a stand-alone, I recommend reading the series’ previous books to better understand the characters, their histories, and their motivations.

This is the conclusion to the Colorado Coyotes series! It’s an amazing opportunity to glimpse into the lives of the players, their families, and friends. This special Epilogue begins 5 years after Cam and Rowan’s The Fall. 

Coyotes Ever After highlights these characters’ most impactful highs and lows. My heart was full of happiness for their accomplishments. I cried over their heartbreaks. This final book brings the entire series full circle. I loved the authenticity of how each character expressed themselves, reflected on their lives, loves, and losses.

The long journey continues for these unlikely partners. While Kim reluctantly agrees to travel with Dennis and his dog, she questions his ability to get them all the way to Memphis and back to her mom, her family. With his worsening injuries and reliance on painkillers, the physical condition of the former US Marshal is rapidly declining. 

For Lee, his only option to run from an abusive father puts him directly into the path of another violent man. With no military or law enforcement since the EMP shutdown the country, Andre had no problem escaping from the Mississippi State Penitentiary. This is my first time reading Breanna Lynn. And, she did not disappoint! Body Guard for the Beauty Queen was a quick, pleasant read. I enjoyed getting to know the characters in this small-town romance.

They definitely deserve their happily ever after. Growing up together in a small town, it seems like it is inevitable that their story has already been written so many times over and over. But for Cole, a mission gone wrong overseas has changed his perspective. Instead of coming home to Hannah Grace, he forces himself to walk away.

I wanted to give her the future so she’d forget the past. I wanted to give her that peace she said she wanted to give me.

Ghost is the most incredible of all the Alpha Elite operatives. Throughout his entire life, he is generous, taking care of his mother. In his career, he turns that generosity into selflessness towards his country and teammates. Until the unthinkable happens, and he is forced to become completely self-reliant. Yet, he is the most giving and unselfish hero in his tragedy. 

Ghost’s story is an epic telling that spans several years. So be prepared to absorb every detail and understand the complete control that is required to enable an elite operator like Ghost to survive under impossible conditions. The man is the absolute definition of determined strength and subtle nuances that created a person who could love another so selflessly that he would sacrifice so much to give the woman he loves everything.

Will he be able to convince Eli to give him a chance at a future with Maddie? Will Maddie open up her heart and mind to what she believes she wants? And can Jordan reconcile his past with what he wants for his future with Maddie and with Eli? 

There is so much confusion with these three that their story is a swirling tide of love and chaos. It’s imperfect and messy and all about change and acceptance.

It’s fantastic the way Mariah keeps her characters going between books. They’re just as engaging in Book 1 as in Book 2. 

Zane and Mira continue to be amazing together. Just as Mira was able to protect Zane’s son and provide a stable, loving environment, Zane is now a safe place for Mira. Doing everything in his power to keep her safe from a past threatening their future, Zane is determined to show Mira that nothing will keep them apart. That she deserves to be a part of the life they’ve created together, and he will accept nothing less, that she deserves only the best.

Zane and Mira are fantastic together. Mira’s blunt and no-nonsense attitude is exactly what Zane needs to keep him from running all over her. As a last-minute choice, she is the perfect nanny for his newly discovered young son. Not only is she able to empathize with the trauma his son has experienced, but Mira is also a calming constant in Zane’s role as a father. 

But, there’s a reason why Mira understands what Zane’s son has been through. Unfortunately, it’s a reason she can’t keep hidden much longer.

While Tristian wants to protect Adriana and step into a leadership role, his lack of resources and experience is glaringly obvious.  

Illicit Throne is a great beginning to the Callahan and Orisini alliance. I look forward to Tristian and Adriana’s uneasy truce as they are forced to rely on each other to grow up fast.

Weston's actions forces Renee back into the viper pit of a family that she barely escaped the first time. 

Hopefully, Weston can reconcile his past with his the present he is determined to have with Renee.

While, Weston is convinced Renee is just another hockey groupie. She lives in his building, works for his hockey team, and managers to show up wherever he goes. To him, that's the classic definition of a stalker and he's had enough of people taking advantage of him for his status, fame, money. He's been put through enough to know he can't trust easily.

Together, they are spicy and feisty! Their banter kept me laughing. I could empathize with Claire's struggles as even the best of us can get overwhelmed with what life puts in front of us. I love how Walker is always ready to support Claire and her daughter. He is a steady presence in her life when she needed it most.

Maya is a strong woman, determined to maintain her independence and not settle for anything less than she deserves. In spite of her fear, she hopes to move forward with or without Brian by her side.
