Another 5-star for Melissa Foster! I love the way Melissa builds up her characters, their families & friends. This was an incredible story, reminding me of growing up in a small town, riding bikes, running barefoot, staying outside and exploring as long as possible. I laughed and enjoyed Dare and Billie’s adventures. I ached at their shared loss of a best friend and how they each responded to that grief.
Savannah and Jacob are amazing, creating amazing voices and an emotional connection to their characters.
